re-starting bob

After I crash In BOB I can not re-start the game...I have to shut my commputer off to restart the game...I'm using vista 64. Also the throttle advances the plane very slowly..Thx for any help.. Tom

What version of BOBII are you running? Are you hitting Alt+X the keys to exit the mission?
 
What are your PC spec's? 
 
The manual appendix H has a discription of the BOBII Keys. The manual is in your BOBII folder in the Docs folder.
