Books to read for help

Post by Misconduct »

I notice there isn't a list of books to read, but thinking of HeerBear's post, can anyone name some books to help me learn more about the pacific war?

Scads of books available... are you interested in one particular part of the war vs. another??

You might page back through the forum.... periodically, there are book recommendation threads... i'll see if i can link a couple.

books are great. Often the best sources, since they are supported by sources that can be confirmed.

in a pinch and for quick reference, particularly for obscure try wikipedia

Just be sure to double check the facts and keep in mind the contributor may or may not be a professional researcher.

Well, aside from the cover, I think you could cut and paste a lot from the threads you can find here, and take it to print. Of course, you might have a rather interesting time selling it to Barnes and Noble......
