Is Operation Praying Mantis in the game?

Looks like an interesting fight, and I would love to try my hand at it.

Thanks for any replies.

No need to wait so long.  Grab the demo and you can start learning the different commands right away along with a dozen or so real scenarios you can use for practice.

I've actually had the demo for a few weeks now. Still trying to wrap my head around everything, but I'm loving every minute of it.

As of now, I'm still a bit blown away by everything going on in the game. I started like many gamers do by laughing away the manual and tutorial and jumped right into the interesting France vs. Australia match. After about 30 seconds, I cried a bit and quit the game. Read the manual and tried the Pirates match, and lasted about a minute....now I'm just running the tutorial over and over trying to get everything set in my mind.

Good golly I love this game!

France vs. Australia ...

I am very experienced with Harpoon Classic, which means I understand at least the basic techniques. I have had at least access to the HCE demo since before Christmas, but not much time to actually play it this year. Nevertheless, I think I have a pretty good understanding of HCE (except sub warfare).

However, I still haven't got a clue about that France vs. Australia scenario.

Pirates ...

<spoiler alert> I have posted an after-action report on that one.

<not spoiler>

step 1: ALWAYS launch most or all of your search assets immediately.
step 2: If it moves (and it's red, and I don't mean RED), kill it!
step 2a: Don't fight fair.

That's all there is to it!
