I too am hoping for this, and also to be able to tell the subs what targets to attack....such as ONLY go for transports, don't bother with PGs etc etc.
At least they will no longer fire at barges and PT boats after the patch.

I think it would be good to have 'suggested' targets for subs to attack, but not absolute targets. We don't really know why a sub might sink a gunboat, but possibly they had a good reason. Maybe they had nothing else to shoot at? Sometimes sub captains really do disobey orders, one account of a sub commander in 1941 at Linguayan Gulf hid instead of attacking the relatively unescorted invasion TF landing the 48th IJA Division. Was Admiral Hart ever pissed off.

Something like a priority target. Like for instance Priority tankers or troop transports or the like. The skippers would still attack whatever was feasible, but if given a choice then they would attack the priority target.

Any news when the US transport carry capacity concern may be addressed? Just wondering.

Any Update?

Are we hours/days/weeks away from 1.2? I thought it was coming out last week...

Any reasonable information would be appreciated. I'm waiting to play until the patch comes out.

It will be out by tomorrow, or possibly tonight, according to the latest info in the B-17 thread.

Keep asking for this. Try starting a new thread and asking other players for support. I lobbied for the percentage of completed airfield, port, and fortification and it finally got put in. Heck I even put up a poll. If you go far enough down, you will find it. Although as a Beta tester I might have gone too far with the poll thing.

I think this is a good solid suggestion and is worth striving for.
