1740 mod? 1756 mod?

Wonder how hard this would be to mod for a scenario starting in 1740 (First Silesian War) or in 1756 (Seven Years War).

I know we would probably be stuck with the military advancements built into the game, but it might still be interesting. Perhaps one could have players agree not to choose the patriotism or universal conscription advancements. Dunno.

Can one screw around with modding the advancements available to players anyhow?

Yes.  It will be in the Modder's Guide whose release is imminent.
Occasionally, and randomly, problems and solutions collide. The probability of these collisions is inversely related to the number of committees working on the solutions. -- Me.
