Getting a CTD out of nowhere

Post by Crimguy »

Game was running along fine until last night. Got a CTD during AI turn resolution. Started a new game, same thing. DXDiag attached. Running 1.030

I don't know why you would get a consistent crash with a new game when you've had no problems before. Did you change anything about your computer? Send me a save game just before the AI phase and I will run it myself to see if I get a crash. Email to 2by3@2by3games.com. Thanks.

As per the email I sent you, I think the save was somehow the cause. It was originally a save from version 1.0 last year, so I think it may contain some kind of data that is causing a CTD. IS this possible?

I started a new game and am not having any issues yet.

Not possible, obviously inevitable...crim the map is virtually not the same anymore from 1.0. [:)]
