Exit to window...

Post by denty12 »

Hello.

I have some problem with this game(COG : EE).

When I ended my turn,

during seeing AI moves, battles...

the game was closed and exit to window!!!(I won two major detailed battles, and no chance to save.......)

This happened sometimes.

During 12 turn, the game was crushed 2 times...

What is the cause???

<My computer >

CPU : AMD athlon 64-X2 windsor 5600+
RAM : 2G
VGA : geforce 8600GT

Have you tried closing all other applications before running COG:EE?

Yes. I only run COG:EE.

Ten minutes ago, my another game was crushed at first turn.........TT;

After detailed battle with Austria,

after the message "Sweden declares war on Denmark." was shown on map,

the game stopped and exit to window...

For now, it's too unstable to play the game.

Ah...what's the problem?

In my game in COG original, all things were OK.

It's the problem of COG : EE?

*ponders* I almost hesitate to chime in here but denty12.  Are you certain your running the latest version of Java?  I might check on that, it just sounds suspiciously like a java version.  And even if its not a java version issue it would likely help you to get the latest jre anyway.  Although I caution you, I have an older version of java on this very computer as one of my cisco management tools won't work on later versions of java, so keep an older jre install package around.

you might try updating video drivers too

this should be the latest drivers for your card and OS
