RE: Insurrection Not Levying

Post by gazfun »

ORIGINAL: Mardonius

Pest is where Charles should be, if I remember correctly. Been a few months.

On my saves (version 1.05.5) during the Jan Naval and Diplomacy phases I am showing Charles with a couple of corps in Temesevar... where the Turkish Army is as well. Be nice to fight the Turk but not at those odds and in the wrong phases...

Thanks
Mardonius
Im afraid Marshall im going to have to believe Mardonius an trust in what he says for this game
Thankyou

Mardonius is correct.

So, Marshall, for some reason you get Charles to stay put, where he is supposed to be.
I guess that is a good thing ...

So that leaves only point a) above: Filling up of insurrection corps.

You might try cleaning out the Battles folders -- everyone.  This appears to be the main cause of one player seeing some corps in one area while others see it in another area.

Del is correct here. I have added an entry noting this in the release notes. BTW: This should be fixed in 1.06

Garry:

The game that I have is the Russian diplomacy??? I need the Austrian player because it is difficult to pass Au unit info in the Russian turn. Try getting me the Au reinf phase, if you can...

In case you haven't noticed Marshall, but the gamefiles you got is the host files.

I can create Austrian backup files for you, but it will have to be from the current phase (Diplomacy).

 - And I will have to make Austria host - Then when you make your fix I'll have to make another backup changing host back to Russia, to make sure all files are in sync.

And yes, we did play forward past the Austrian reinf. phase, but that was under the assumption these problems would have to be solved through a ruling - rather clumsly... Making players continue the game from those gamefiles would be very unfair.

Shall I make the Austrian gamefiles (as host) and send to you ?

Yes you can but it needs to be when the Austrian player is the phasing player.

OK, Marshall

Been able to fabricate these austrian gamefiles. Austria is phasing (diplo phase).

This will be the last try and the last files I upload.
If you can't fix this the game is dead.

Best regards

Thanks Marshall!

Looks like the corps are full. Itching to use them now...

Thx Marshall for fast response [:)]

Out of curiosity, where did you see Charles and his 2 cav. corps:

With the rest of his (small) main army - or two areas away sharing area with 6 or more turkish corps ?
See point b) above.

I see the latter.

In Temesvar with the Turks???
Does he need to be moved?
BTW: This should be illegal since they are in the rural area?
He needs to be moved somewhere but he was not there in earlier game?

Tell me where he goes and I will put him there!

Thank you

With the rest of the Austrians (well, most of them) just south of Pest.

Posted this earlier. Contains the details concerning Charles and his 2 cav corps:
ORIGINAL: eske
What we want you to fix is this:

a) Levy the Austrian insurrection corps to full. (They are off the map at the moment)
b) Move Charles and his cav. corps back where they should. Last update moved them one area into where the Turkish army is. (Temesavar as I recall). They should be moved back to the rest of the Austrain army in area192.

/eske

If you could put Charles back in place, using the same files as before, it would be great. Simply repost it here is fine.
