Great battles indeed.

I had an idea I thought may be interesting to share it with you guys.

For now, the main rule is that a single player cannot fight more than 3 consecutive battles with a specific opponent.

This of course is a simple and good idea, although the downside is that this may not be a good way to attach the fate of a specific battalion to the competencies of a specific player.

Lets take an example, player 1 fought well using battalion A and almost won a map.

Player 2 the next day takes command of battalion A, and this time fight awfully and loose the map and has the battaltion decimated.

My question is: Is there an easy way to assign specific battalions (lets say 2 or 3 per player) to players and have them follow up those battalions until the end of the compaign? It would create a better attachement between players and battalions and I think players would be more motivated to select carefully their options knowing that each step will influence their whole battalion life in the campaign.

Now I can't really figure out how we could do that in a practical way, or if this dooable at all.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I agree with you. I prefer each general have the responsability on one or more BGs. But I´ts impossible to change now, I think

The main problem would be blocking the game, yet the campaign is not very fast, if we were battalions each player, we would have many stops on the game.Si we look, all registered players, only four or five appear regularly.

Koenig and Inquisiteur.

I have uploaded at the gmail account a image of the current status of the campaign. We can use it to discuss tactics. [:)]

Hi Inquisiteur,

that was an idea at the beggining (if you read the first 4 pages you will notice that) but i think this is impossible in this kind of campaing. THe campaing will stop a lot because the players will need to meet to fight with their BG assigned, and we will lost a lot of days....

This is a dream, and i think would be great, but is hard when we are actually 6 players here ;)
