Is it possible to move a commander from one unit to another?

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Hi,

Once you place a commander with a unit is it possible to ever move him to another unit?

There is a reassign button next to his portrait, takes a few turns and then you can deploy him again from the force pool.
