Reinstall of Digital Download

Ok...high level of frustration but here goes....

Problem 1: I got this excellent game a month ago via digital download and physical shipment. I had a saved file go corrupt so when the physical cd's arrived today I deleted the game to reload it off the discs. This wouldn't work, I keep getting a failure when instructed to change to disc 2....it keeps insisting that the wrong disc in there but it isn't. I can't get past this.

Problem 2: So I decided to reinstall through digital download instead. I read through the instructions and followed the steps. But after inputting my order number and password (and I also tried with email and last 5 digits of credit card) I get taken to a screen that says "message 99998", that I have to reset my internet browser to allow a cookie in order proceed further. How do I do that? I've gone to my internet options but I cannot find anything that allows or disallows accepting cookies? Thanks......

If your using Internet Explorer 7 click Tools, Internet options, Privacy, then Sites. If Firefox and I like it better then IE 7 click tools, options, Privacy, then Exceptions. You should then see a place where you type in the web address and allow cookies.
