no music

Hello,

I am new to the game. I have selected music as a preference, but I do not hear any music. I hear voices and sounds, but no music. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Do you have an updated version of Windows Media Player installed?

Yes. And, in the interim I was able to fix the problem. I found the culprit by going into the Music folder. All of the music files were set to open by Itunes. Not sure how or why this happened. I then made Media Player my default player for audio files and switched the files in the Music folder to be opened by Media Player instead of Itunes. I would guess that on systems where there are more than one program set to play audio files this conflict can result. The end result was some great Civil War tunes as I learn the game. thanks very much for the reply!!

ITunes can be insidious, from what I've heard. I'll mention this to Eric, in case there's an easy way of making it so that this problem can be avoided by future players. I'm glad you got the game working. And I'm glad you like the music -- the 5th Michigan does a great job.
