You can have little time and an erratic schedule and still play PBEM. THere is no rush to turn out a "turn" if you have an equally occupied Opponent. A little understanding and patience will allow you to play PBEM. Just find the right opponent with a similar schedule.

Alternatively an opponent in a 180 degree opposite timezone helps too. This insures that there is no "rush" to get a turn out as when you are looking at delaying your life or delaying your turn, the choice is easy. Delay the turn. Since completing is now is of no use to your sleeping opponent.
