I would have appreciated if it continued at 55%.
This is version 1.20, obviously.

Between the rain, mud, jungle encroachment, possible enemy bombing, etc. it's not unreasonable, to reset the work to 0 rather than keep track of the inevitable degradation to the unfinished work.Originally posted by v.Manstein
I don`t know what you guys think about it, but I think that it shouldn`t go back to zero if I halt construction. I decided to stop an expansion of a port/airfield/fortification, just to continue constructing e.g. an airfield due to emergency situations in the hope that all resources would go into the other construction, and it wiped out my accumulated 55%. When I picked it up again, I it started from zero!

I agree - resetting progress to 0% does not seem realistic. I think that the progress should slowly degrade over several weeks, if not several months.Originally posted by v.Manstein
Degradation sounds great but it goes back to zero as soon as you stop and start it!
Really? Why? It does not do that for already built levels does it (or have I missed that?) Even bombing does not set it back a level. Of course bombing makes the percentage damage go up and it effectively acts almost like knocking it down a level.Originally posted by Scouters

I don't mean to refer to airfield/port damage, but rather on the % progress indicator for expansions. In my opinion, if you halt working on an upgrade, the % progress should slowly fall, rather than abruptly reset to 0%.Originally posted by Sonny
