So are we to bring our laptops, strategic maps and invasion notes? [:D]

I'd strongly recommend against laptops and note books. Beer and electronics and beer and books are generally not a good combination! My rule is , it won't survive a beer splash, I won't bring it. And I definately won't bring my wall sized display planning map! [:D]

Shoot, I misread the title of this thread.  I thought it was "Army of Northern Virginia WitP summit." Cool, thinks I, perhaps Jubal Early, A.P. Hill, and Porter Alexander are gonna be there.

Well they are certainly invited, but I wouldn't hold my breath.....Nor the big man himself, even though he was raised in Alexandria and married a girl from Arlington. [:D]

OK, So this coming Saturday, 2pm at the Navy Memorial , standing on the map at Hawaii. I'll be wearing a VP-68 Navy ball cap. I'm 6'3" , heavyset, and will wear a light green shirt and jeans. And I will NOT be carrying a copy of "Pride & Predudice" , as my wife suggested (Damned chick flick!) nor will I be holding a rose between my teeth. And no , I will NOT be holding a Japanese tourist hostage. [:D]

Other comments , or suggestions are welcome as always......but if you can come, if for no other reason than curiosity. [:D]

Drat. I was in the area 2 weeks ago. I doubt the wife will let me out of state.

Spy Museaum was cool though.

I wish that I knew you were in the area! Let me know next time. So you are close to Philadelphia? I need to do a road trip up there this spring. Maybe you'll let me buy you a drink? [:)]

I can definitely meet up for a drink. However, if I see anyone holding a flower I will casually just ask for directions and move on! Lol.

Thank you John! That makes five! I kinda feel like that scene in the "Magnificent seven" when they start counting the gang. Can we do seven? [:D]

Just to bring everyone up to date....we had six coming, now back to five......
I was planning to meet everyone at 2pm at Navy Memorial , on the map near the Lone sailor. I'll be wearing a VP-68 ball cap. And if you can't make the rendevous , try this place. http://www.lovethebeer.com/rfd.html
It's RFD's , across from gallery place-chinatown.
