Screen flickering

Hi,

I've downloaded an installed the game and when I load the game I get severe screen flickering. I've got a Nvidia 7950Gt graphics card and have not had any graphics problems with any of my other Matrix games. I've got dx 9c.

Is this just on the main interface or also in the battles? What resolution/refresh are you running? Can you post a DxDiag file please?

Hi,

I've attached the dxdiag for my computer. What I see is that when I move the cursor over a menu option the menu option flickers. When I select an option (bootcamp etc.) the screen begins flickering as soon as the map loads up.

The problem happened at 1280x1024 and 1024x768 on a samsung lcd screen.

Please try updating your video and sound drivers as they are from 2006 and 2005 respectively. I'll see if Jim or Steve have any suggestions.

Hey Erik thanks for picking that up.  I read this before I stepped out for dinner and didn't have any suggestions.  I e-mailed Steve before I stepped out and expected to see his reply when I got back.  Probably had to step out too. I'm certain Steve has the answer to this.  I'll check with him again.  Thanks dougb for being patient.

I'd lay money that it's your anastophic filtering and antialiasing.

Turn it off for CCE.exe



must be some way we can turn that off when the game is installed.

downloaded and installed the latest Nvidia drivers and that has eliminated the screen flickering. Looking forwards to taking this game for a spin!
