Spam Bots

Has anyone else notice the new spam-seems more intelligent with a little sentence or two that is somewhat connected to the thread? I seen several of these in the last week.

I really don't like the swirly letter test some sites use for registration, but perhaps its time matrix considers using those.

I must confess i've read thought half of that post before realizing is was a damned bot! [:D]

By the way, should us (users) report this kind of spam posts to the forums admins?
I've tried to report this one, but it seems "Spam" isn't a valid reporting reason and i can't send the report [&:]

Yep Arsan-that's what I'm talking about. It seems those things are getting smarter. Look how long it took to get that first response to my initial post. Interesting that there is not link in it-so it is a vindictive SB-something I have not seen before.

I also just came across this little exchange in the Napoleon at War support thread. If this garbage is wasting the time of Matrix staff, it is getting out of hand. The Bot quoted a legit member (out of context and place in thread).
