Running CS on iMac with VMWare fusion?

I have been playing all the Talonsoft Battleground and Campaign Series games for years, so thank you to Matrixgames for keeping the gaming alive! I was excited when I found your website and purchased the Campaign Series right away. I have been playing the original games on the iMac with VMWare Fusion, no problem. So, not too pleased to find the new game not working, and customer support not really helpful (use recommended OS?? - that's not really much support!). I know there are many variables involved, but the game runs in the old version and doesn't really tax the graphics card, etc. So, is there some tweaking I can do - or shall I experiment with using bootcamp? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you CAN run the game on Bootcamp - so there. That's for anyone else who might have run into this situation.

I am always looking for a way to play our game "EVERYWHERE".

So I tried running our Game on XP SP2 inside Virtualbox 3.02 (current) on Windows Vista SP2.
Its doing perfect.

This could be a free Solution (Virtualbox is freeware from Sun) for
a. all who run into the "famous" 486 error (Vista,Windows 7)
b. and/or having the wrong OS present (MAC,Linux etc) since Virtualbox is also available for all platforms.

It works also in a kind of "seamless mode" and fullscreen.

EDIT:I have tested it now on Windows VISTA and Windows 7 too, no flaws so far except for a little slower scrolling rate.
