So, is this Bison Grass vodka really as good as they say? And is it really as dangerous as they say? And finally, does it give you hallucinations?

The Bison Vodka (Zubrowka - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisent) is indeed pretty well.
I never had any hallucinations after that (but the other thing is that I have never had a hallucinations after any kind of vodka, and there are people who have them after drinking just few shots).

Once I was at the Fish's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fish_(singer)) concert and he told he likes Zubrowka becouse you can drink it and then you can smoke it. [;)]

Sooo, a French company is hiring an American actor to promote Polish vodka in the EU and China.... it's a small world.
Oh, and S_o_M, any liquor is potentially dangerous ofcourse, but you already knew that.... living in France  [;)]

i did not expect my first post in this forum to be in the "Polish beverages" thread, but I have to mention the "Best Beer in the World" which in my opinion (yes I am german) is the Polish made "WARKA STRONG" 7,0% Alc.
I can realy recommend that!

I will add that whilst Chopin is a great vodka, Luksusowa is also very good, particularly at its inexpensive pricing - I have bought it for a price as low as $12.99 for 1 Liter. Not that both Chopin and Luksusowa are potato based vodkas.

"The traditional booze"? [X(] I see a problem here: vodka (or whisky) vs beer / wine (especially beer; wine can be too strong)... You can drink beer / wine all night long. But try to drink vodka until dawn (a shot every 5 minutes or so [;)]). You'll go to hospital yes or yes [8D]

And I am talking about "normal" people who can stand their ale, not about super human Rambo machomen (like the ridiculous kid of the video I posted above).

In other words, you start the party at 10 pm and by midnight you are KO... Vodka wins, you lose...

Of course you can't drink as much vodka as beer, but one liter per head during a party is nothing uncommon.

Having Polish in-laws, I have had the chance to taste a wide sample of their "beverages". Indeed, Chopin and Belvedere rank among the best in their vodka class. Warka beer is fairly robust too. Both my Chopin and Belvedere are now stored in the freezer, where ( it is claimed) the vodka conserves it's properties best. And yes, the in-laws can take quite a few belts, and still stand upright.
