Dom DiMaggio Passes Away...

...at the age of 92. He was overshadowed by his older brother, but he was a star in his own right. As a member of the Boston Red Sox, and a teammate of Ted Williams, he was a seven-time All-Star.

In my 1940 PS league, I traded for him, and he has performed well for my Dodgers.

RIP Dominic.

...And his 34 game hitting streak for Boston in 1949 still stands as the club record.

In my PS league he retired about 10 years ago. Factoring in that he played a few extra seasons in my league than he did in real life, his totals were on par, even for Sportsmans Park:
