My experiences so far

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!

My experiences so far

Post by Ursa MAior »

I had little time to play until now. Recently spent some 30+ hours playing it, and I immensely enjoy it.

I am playing normal difficulty and simple economy with France (1803 or 1805) for the sake of simplicity yet still struggle a bit with the learning curve.

My arty heavy Vth corps was overran by irr spanish cav, on the other hand I beat 90k+ austrians with a similarly constructed Grande Armée 50k strength(2 cav div, 2 inf div one of them Imp Garde + reserve arty corps ie 8-10 arty). Tactical battles are REALLY fun!

Diplomacy is still a bit obscure for me as is the role of personalities, did not dare to play a detailed naval battle (even though being a ship of the line fan) so far.

To sum it up thanks WCS!

I agree.  I love this game.  I finally got to sit down over the weekend and give it a serious go.  I was Poland and ended up (with the help of France and Britian) beating back Russia, Prussia, and Austria.  It was a really good game and I've replayed the game the past two nights in my sleep [>:].  As I keep wading into the finer details I look forward to the depth this game provides.  THANKS GUYS!!
