I tried to take out one of those M4s but no luck this time. my HMGs took out an M5 Halftrack and scared off some Rangers.

I am you host Bob and Dick is back. Well Dick things are certainly winding down. Team USSR keeps retreating and keeps getting pot shots in on Team USA and hits. I am your host Bob and with me today is Dick. Well Dick it looks pretty much like end game. Team USA was able to get its reinforcements into play this last turn and what a difference it made. 1 Wolverine crew paniced after multiple ranger assualts and another T-34 destroyed by ranger assualts. One of the last two 12.7mm machine guns gunned down and only one lone Wolverine left in the rough surrounded by rangers assualting it.
It sure looks bad for Team USSR Bob, I feel the end is near. Only two victory hexes left to take and I think that it will be over.
I believe you are right Dick. Team USSR put up a valiant fight but it seems like it is the end. Well that is all the time we have for today. Join us next time when we talk about who will go to the next round of the World Cup.

I am your host Bob and with me is Team Captain of USSR, Ivan and USA, Gary. Well fellas you played a great game and it is nice to see that the two of you can come together after and have some beer and Vodka and discuss the game. Let see Ivan can you tell us about your starting forces and your reinforcements.
Well Bob I did not request any reinforcements like my eeesteeemed opponent did. My initial forces was
1-152mm off board battery, 1-122mm offboard battery, 1-120mm offboard mortor.
1 Fwd observer, 1 So sniper
10-Wolverines
15- T-34 m43's
a Platoon of 12.7mm Dshk HmG
9- units of So Motorcycles
and 4 platoons of So Calvery.
Wow and no requests for reinforcements I am currious as to why you did not request any? Also why did you take so few recon units? Both of these two things I mention might have made a big difference in the battle.
Well commrade you win some and you lose some.
Well ok and here is Gary captain for Team USA. What was your initial force and what did you request as reinforcements.
Well Bob my initial force was composed of
6-M8 Grey Hounds
5-M4A3 Shermans
6-Onboard 105mm Howitzers, 2-81mm Mortors, and 1 Fwd observer
13-3 inch AT-guns
12-50 cal AAMG's
10-US recon patrols
9-M3A Halftracks
5-Platoons of US Rangers
2-M10 Wolverines

My reinforcements came in on turn 12 and were
2-Platoons of Rangers
9-M2 Halftracks
2-Ammo Carriers.

Wow, a couple questions for you Gary. Why did you wait so long on the ammo carriers it seemed you were out of ammo for about 6 turns. Also after that devistating turn with the Grey Hounds how were you able to come back.
Well Bob the ammo carriers were a big mistake, I was not paying attention to my ammo on my artillary pieces and they had run out before I requested my reinforcements. Not smart. The Grey Hounds round was very devistating. I was able to use my infantry very well and my opponent was a little over confident in his armor. He left a bunch of armor out in the open a turn or two latter and I was able to make him pay for it. Though if he had requested reinforcements it might have been a much different game. I am not sure as to why he did not.
