AV loss when retreated

Post by Mistmatz »

I'd like to know your estimates how much of a LCUs AV is lost when it is kicked out of a base into a no-supply area. How much of the initial AV is roughly lost/disabled?
If you gained knowledge through the forum, why not putting it into the AE wiki?

In a stock game against the AI it seems that when the Japanese have booted out various units, Brit, Dutch, Indian, etc. that AV has dropped at least 15%, but also more. In Java, IIRC , a Dutch unit, initially well supplied, was eventually pushed back after 2 consecutive deliberate attacks from Djojkakarta (sp ?), then attacked a 3rd time  in a row  in the new hex and was pushed out yet again, was down to less than 1/2 of it's AV that it started with, and was disrupted and fatigued even more. I only remember because I was surprised that the first attack had not dislodged it and so I payed attention.

In his AARs, Nemo always claims that a 20% loss is inflicted whenever a retreat anywhere is forced.
