Unlucky Mate!

Post by Didz »

When I captured Lae a couple of months ago the surviving Japanese garisson fled into the central New Guinea jungle.

The Australians pursued them inland driving them out of Nadzab and capturing Salamaua and Marilinan.

At which point the former Lae Garisson began a long trek north along the jungle trail towards Madang.

Unfortunately, just as it was within sight of its destination another Aussie landing captured Madang and its garisson surrendered.

The former ex-Lae Garisson arrived just as the Aussies were digging in and are now camped in the jungle just outside the base perimeter. The only Japanese bases left on New Guinea are Saidor or Wewak. Unlucky Mate!

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
