Large printed map

Post by Al Boone »

Has anyone ever produced a large full color printed WITP map for sale, say 40" X 40" ? Any likelihood that someone would produce the same for AE in large size color. I have cut n pasted a 34" x 30" WITP map and laminated it, but this is tedious.

If you can get an electronic copy of the map, take it to Kinkos and ask them to print it out and laminate it.

I did the same only at 84" x 58" (still needs a few more inch added to the bottom).
So far its 56 full color 8x11 stuck together then laminated.

You can download a planning map off Spooky's site, if its still running.  Like those guys said, you can go to kinko's and print it out.  I mounted mine on a ferrous metal backing and use magnetic counters to keep track of things.  The thing's bigger than me almost.  The wife had some doubts, but it really came out nice once I made a frame for it.

Matrix had the stock map available on thier Cafe Press site.  I'd hope they'd do it again for AE.

If the map is set, perhaps Matrix could put this out now. Sure would be nice to begin the planning proces.

Can you post a pic of this map? Love to see it.

I have often wondered if Kinko's would something like this.  I also wondered what they would think of a 40 sumptin wanting it done.  [:'(]   I really like the idea of a metal back and using magnets. (AirGriff)

Don't distract them. It might add minutes to the release of AE.
