1947---(What If)---Invasion of Nazi Europe

Post by Silvanski »

Here's the modded version of this monster.
Once again thanks to Piero for letting me mess with his brainchild and TPOO for the 'ghost units' fix, good suggestions and testing

There may come a v2 with variable objective tracks.

*PHFEW*  Not sure if I want to go through that scenario again any time soon, but I'll see.  The changes may be interesting.

By the way, I finished the last game in about the 87th turn.......  The only Axis forces left on the board were the ones that reconstituted in neutral countries.

v2.2 uploaded
Various changes, the most prominent being the switch from turn based reinforcements to event based ones for several units.
I also found a purpose for those 4 Panzerlager units: on-map Panther depots which disband as the Allies close-in... the longer you can delay the Allies advancing, the more Panthers will be dumped in the equipment pool ...

v3.0 of the mod has been sent to some idea contributors... have not been able to meet everyone's wishes but still implemented various ideas I received [;)] ... there will be a bit less units on the map as I organised formations formerly in reserve status into a reinforcement scheme...

Barring major hickups it should be available soon...

Is there any chance of this being the final version?

Yes it will... When I feel it's about right I plan a full campaign versus the illustrious Mr Veers... AAR will be posted somewhere...
If no major glitches turn up v3.0 will be uploaded

Veers and myself will be posting an AAR on Gamesquad... it will be a public playtest of v3.0

If no glitches show during the (long) PBEM, the updated mod will be released...

Yes, the parallell will be very interestign to see develop.
To repeat history in a game is to be predictable.

ORIGINAL: Trick37 In France, when the partisans started appearing, a couple of units started having flaws in them.

This is fixed for the TOAWIII mod

How did you fix this? I am having the same problem with a scenario I'm designing!

Thanks!

If memory serves me right I deleted the the affected units it will resurface when making a duplicate unit "copy unit"
Thenat the end of your OOB using the next unit button build the unit from an empty cadre and cut and paste it in its formation
