Spartans and Chariots of War - Differences?

Post by miral »

I have Spartan and am thinking of getting Chariots of War. From the screen shots and descriptions they seem essentially to be the same game set in different eras. Not that this is bad; the Spartan design is so good I would like it in most times. Are there any real differences between the two games? Also, is there a zoom in Chariots? Zoom is our friend, lack of zoom the work of a devil.

Thanks

Chariots was first using this engine (maybe the Roman one was). I never purchased it, but would assume the earlier the game using the engine the less sophisticated its implementation. Doubt that it has any zoom capability, but I don't know for sure.
