Ver 1.034 Polk oddity bug

CSA general Polk, when an Army commander, does not give his specialty bonus to unit types other than inf and mil.

I had noticed this in a 1861 PBEM game and have run many tests (Polk with initiative, without initiative, in defending region, moved to defending region, Polk as attacker, Polk as defender...) but in all cases Polk gives no specialty bonus to cav, mounted, arty, or heavy arty.

The other 6 CSA ACs I tested did not have this problem.

Database error?

I'm curious of the answer but in any event Polk's about to suffer a demotion in my PBEM game.

Does he have enough Command Points to help more than just the infantry? If you have a save just before a combat, please send it to 2by3@2by3games.com.

I do have limited command recovery option on but it's not due to a lack of available command rating points.
