Need some 1.73 beta test volunteers

I would like to have the now freeware PureSim Baseball 1.73 officially released on the Matrix servers by Monday, but given the amount of stuff I crammed in there, it would be great to get a few testers to put 1.73 through it's paces.

I posted a release candidate tonight, so please have a look if you have the time. Note, if you are an existing customer it should automatically update your existing install. If you have never installed Puresim, then even better, I need that tested too.

Any help/feedback would be great.

Alright. I installed this on top of my existing game, and now it won't start. I get a runtime error "339". Something about PS webbrowser octl. 2 is not correctly registered. A file is missing or invalid.

Hi Shaun, the only experience I have with this game is from the demo a couple of years ago.It installed fine, I set up a 1998 replay association with the historical draft.After spring training I went into the pspn page clicked on Larry walker in the most feared players list.I clicked on player usage (the white text is very fuzzy on the pitcher usage side of the screen),hit cancel and got an error and a CTD. Unfortunately I cant recall what the error said. Reloaded the association no problem and no errors when I repeated player usage.

Sounds like you got a corrupt download. Delete the file and try downloading again.

that seemed to work, but the installer hung when it finished, but it did finish

Make sure you are patient and let it finish. My guess is files were still being flushed to disk.

not sure, I left it alone for a good while, when I came back to it, it had the not responding message on it

Installed perfect on my desktop and laptop.

One issue I notice at this point is on my laptop at 1360x780 widescreen, the Manage Roster menu is cut off at the bottom, halfway on the bottom right Close button. It then blocks the stats in the middle on the bottom too.

I doubt that this resolution (1360x768) was in the original design, don't really know. Other than that, the game looks great on it!

After downloading and installing.  It won't run.  The only error message I get is unexpected error, quitting.

I'd suggest a reboot.

If you are on Vista, make sure you run as "Administrator"

Thanks Shaun.  I had already tried the re-boot, but the run as adminstrator worked.
