Idiot needs help

Post by davewolf »

I successfully managed to crash my machine. Was a big crash. No Windows. Almost no DOS. (Interesting effect, when you're at C:\Windows\ at DOS level, enter dir and then the hard disk worked and worked and ... After 10 min or so I lost my patience...)

Well, wouldn't be so bad if I only would have made a complete backup during the last months...

...

AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!

Conclusions: Murphy was a hero... Like Hiob... And I'm an idiot.

So, if everybody who contacted me during the last months would be so nice to drop me a mail (so I'd have your mail address again), it would be great.

Secondly is WIR V3.1 still out there? In order to finish running games that could be also helpfull. And I'd upload it to my homepage, so that everybody as dumb as I am - not very realistic I know - can get it from there too.

And yes, now is the time for the horde of raptors (Stefdragon & Co ;) ) to tease me...

I still have WiR 3.101, do you want to have it? But I could only send you all the files (minus the big .pdf files) in one .zip file because the setup.exe is too big for hotmail.

Would be a great deal.

I tend to believe that my opponents would like to see the running games finished...

Thanks in advance!

WIR 3.1*

Post by Stefdragon »

I had actually been studying a 3.1* version of the game without realizing that there was a newer version. I just recently learned about 3.2. When I found out I was very pleased, updated, and then erased any earlier versions. I know no one else did this. Otherwise even-I-would have helped you...I think.
