Oddity in pitch count

Post by Hard Sarge »

or game play

the enemy gets a guy on base, the runner tries to steal 2nd, but the pitch count is 3-2

runner is safe, pitch is a strike

batter is still at the plate ?

next pitch is a 0-2 and a ground out to SS

This is a long standing issue. I was hoping that this was what was changed when Shaun referred to 'improved pitch count numbers and more realistic pitch sequences.'

yea, hassle is, it costs you games

just had another one, 2-2 count, strike and stolen base

oh well, that is one of the pains of a count system, control, speed, pitch type means nothing, great batters means nothing when every time he comes up, it is a 0-2 count, pitchers with great control, walk 10 batters a game, pitchers with poor control and lousy pitches, get 12 strikeouts a game, because of what count comes up

The thing I don't understand is... me wanting to get the game to do play-by-play action. I mean, I want to see each pitch thrown.

What am I not doing right here !? !? !?[8|]

Seeing every pitch is not an option, although if you look at the log after the game, you will see that every pitch is simulated.
