TimLib.dll

Post by R8J »

I'm receiving the following error:

"This application has failed to start because Database.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".

I'm running XP Pro SP3, AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core. I do not have any after market DBs installed at the moment.

Do I need to re-install from CD and then the patch? or can I get a copy of the dll from some one?

I had a problem with TimLib.dll but was solve the problem from an earleir post.

Database.dll search did not turn up anything.

Yes, you must have missed one of the patches. I've done the same. Now, I install the patches in the order listed here:

tm.asp?m=2066136

You can grab the missing file here:

tm.asp?m=1870190

Don't forget to update to the latest version of the Complete Harpoon ANW Library and avoid as many problems as possible.

Thanks for the quick reply....I'd missed Datafile.dll bit in posts #5 and #6.

Looks like I may have to re-install. Now I am getting a "There is an error with your serial number as entered" error in the DOS box?????

I've also run into that problem from time to time.  The easiest solution was to just re-install the entire mess.
