Timing of Supply

Post by gravey101 »

Feels like a pretty basic question, but can't seem to find it in the manual...

If i am attempting to supply an army that is moving via a depot, does the depot need to be accessible (same province or adjacent) at the start of movement? at the end?

End. Although be aware that your army may fail an initiative roll somewhere in between, so plan for that in case. A central location (if possible) that covers all areas of movement is optimal for a depot.

Your army will supply wherever it ends its movement.

yeh the possibility of failing the move initiative is what got me thinking. thanks for the reply. makes sense to place a depot to cover the likely movement path then
