Thanks for the reply, Shaun. I will try as you suggested. It makes sense that I can't see the schedule since none of the add-ins are working for me. I did a clean install of RC4A and every thing looked good until I loaded my saved association. Then, even in that version, I lost the add-ins. I'm going to keep trudging ahead, though, because I'm tenacious like that!

hey Wraithchild,

What is your screen size set to in the options menu ??

What options menu? My desktop resolution is set to 1366x768. I'd like to be able to position Puresim in the middle of the display instead of left aligned but it's not dragable.

BTW I will be starting back soon !  maybe I will use some of your posting format  [;)]

It's only fair, as I stole most of the concept from you. :) You'll notice, though, that I like using a lot of images. I think it helps the reporting come more alive.

1) Where is my team's schedule? I no longer see it at the Front Office. That's not good.

2) Add-ins don't seem to be working. In fact, I don't even see the Quick Link to them any more, and none of them show up on the Add-ins page.

I just tries a clean install on a clean machine and it worked flawlessly. Note the schedule option on the team page is implemented as an addin so that is the issue, something with your addins.

Try this:

Go to a command prompt
(run cmd.exe from the start -> run menu

change into the addins folder:

cd \Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2007\mods\AddIns\VB6

type
regsvr32 Calendar.dll

I'm including an image that shows what happens when I do that.

I started clean again with 1.74a and then upgraded it to 1.75. Every thing was fine until I try to load my saved association. It goes through some updating routine but as soon as it's loaded I no longer have any add-ins. Since I have no desire to start my association over again I am going to have to shelve this until I can figure out what's wrong. I'll also look for a copy of 1.72 since that's the last one that worked with my association.

However, when I go to the add-in section none are available.  Also, I don't see the add-in drop down on the main team screen or the calendar option.  Do I need to restart?

Henry,

Are you installing over an earlier version and/or using an existing association?

How did you get that Front Office page?  I have installed 1.75, and I believe all is well.  I have 2 different PureSim icons now.  Should I get rid of the first one, or keep it?  The new on(1.75) has all of my associations, so I don't know if I need the previous one.  Thanks

Is one set for "autorun.exe" and the other set to point directly to "puresim2k7.exe"?

I completely un-installed PureSim and reinstalled directly from 1.75   Everything looks back to normal.

Crash, this sounds silly, but I don't know the difference.  Do I go to the programs page?  Thanks

Now that i reload my existing association I've lost the add-in drop down and calendar.  A started the association brand new in 1.75.  I've been opening/closing as I test XML tweaks.

Sooner,

you can right click the icons and select properties. Then look at the Target setting. The old one will probably be set to "autorun.exe" and the new icon set for "puresim2k7.exe". I deleted my old one and am just using the new one.

That's not good. I was concerned about having this problem with my existing association. Now you are having it with one created in 1.75.

Has anyone else seen this happen? Has anyone else been able to successfully load an existing 1.72 association on 1.75?

P.S. Does anyone know where I can still get a copy of 1.72?

EDIT: Never mind. I found my copy.

Has anyone else been able to successfully load an existing 1.72 association on 1.75?

Well, I don't know if this helps or not, but I have an assn that was started with 1.71 and I've been simming with 1.72 ever since it first came out (7/20/08). And now I'm simming with 1.75 with no problems. Note: I never did install any of the 1.74 RCs. Just went straight from 1.72 to 1.75.

That's what I'm going to try. 1.75 just doesn't like my saved association, that was also started in 1.71, when I'm starting with a 1.74 base. I'm glad, though, that at least for newcomers the latest version will be working well for them and their new associations.

Shaun,

I get this error when trying to register that dll.

Image

Are you running Vista? That basically means "Access denied" If you are not on Vista then maybe try disabling any anti-virus s/w.

Try running PureSim as administrator. See this page for more info on PureSim and Vista. I really believe this is not indicative of an issue with 1.75, seems to be an environmental issue.

Installed 1.75 directly over 1.72. The game seems to run fine, but I am missing the Expanded Team Results from the Team Management page. The shortcut still appears just below the Schedule Calendar, but leads to a blank page.

Every other option on the page works.

Anyone have any ideas where it can be found?
