Perhaps this is due to the wonders of copy and paste. I had my first email to IW bounced back. It seems I included the parenthesis on one side.

Iron dude, I just resent to your @live account again. Maybe it didn't go through that first time, but I also find that my Outlook seems to have a mind of its own, and be pretty discerning about certain domains like hotmail and "live."
