Years, litterally......including playtest time......

Even more than the time I've played, add the time I've spent thinking about it.........

.......and then there's the time waiting on the 3.4 patch....LOL!

The REAL test might be 'How many lifetimes........." after all, I was once a young man and then there was TOAW........

Whatever the count, I'm sure it pales in comparison to how much Norm Koger spent on it :P

I have no idea. I have been playing for a little more than a year, but my working schedule is very irregular, so difficult to compute my playing time.

I'm going to guess that during the period I played it . . . 10 to 20 hours a week, averaging 3 weeks per month, for a grand total of about a years worth of play time, dispersed between about 2004 and 2006? Or did I start in 2003? So 12 X 3 = 36 X 20 = 720 hours roughly.

TOAW III was released in June 2006, let's say at least 10 hours a week, that's about 1500+ hours [8D]

Less than 50 hours, I have this game since 2 years but it did not grab me completely.
Supply calculation and air combat are too abstract for my taste, but I'm still trying to learn to play.
Now playing Singapore 42 with Japanese, normal AI, very good scenario IMHO.

You cannot possibly be wrong Boonie about it coming out in 2006 . . . wow, amazing how flawed my memory. So I must have got it shortly after it came out, and stopped playing it sometime after summer 2007 when I did my Dominica return trip. I say the hours still same for me though 500 to 750. Great game, just very hard on the brains to me.
