I know somewhere it's mention how many PPs a LCU gaines every turn but I can't find. Anybody know off hand?

Does an HQ increase the speed at which an LCU will accumulates PPs?

Usually around 1 pt/turn.

They can, but doesn't seem to help much.

Wow, I didn't know that the rate was variable.  I've only observed a regular 1pt/turn.

Sometimes if i split a unit, i notice that the one that has a good commander will get a point or two ahead of the one that has a drone (especially noticeable when splitting up a unit so some fragments are on one ship, while others are on another.)

It seems not to make a whole lot of difference, though... usually they only have a point or two difference after shipping across the Pacific or Indian Oceans (which is >1 month time), so maybe 5% difference to get to 100% prep.
