I protest, I think Curieus voted for himself! No one in their right mind would vote for the Netherlands to beat Nationalist Spain! Since Curieus is the only one I know who is not in his right mind (and he is from the Netherlands), he must have voted for himself to beat me.

And then what weird spaniard would actually *wish* to go to the Netherlands.
For example every years hundreds of thousands of dutch invade the spanish land (beaches) to enjoy sunshine (simulate burgers under a grill) frollic in the sea (evade jellyfish), have deep (booze induced) intelligent (whoa, look there!!) conversations (pass me another beer).

On second hand, it becomes clear why the spanish come to the netherlands, their beaches are overcrowded, they want a nice and quiet holiday at the seashore.

Curieus, that's a good one, I should have voted for you several times so that you would think your situation must be better than you believe it to be!
