Yeah, something seems a bit screwy with treaties.

lol harsh! Don't know if I care much for that Remove Generals clause. Looks like it's permanent ( I must have been thinking of EiA or something where they come back after a time). The game's more interesting to me with the famous characters... ah well I get what I get. [:)]

I was just going to take back Hanover and a colony or something but you protectorized it, so I dont think you can cede it back.

That ticked me off a little. Sorry.

Well I had to leave myself an escape route. [:D] I think I'd rather lose core provinces than famous leaders, but I guess when I make GB surrender I'll know what to do. [;)]

Escape from Mecklenberg. Sounds like a bad movie.

HiHi

france, Turkey & Prussia all in so 1 to go.

Mmmm, looks like maybe some of the bugs are still there, when I get the final file I'll merge again and send out new turn.

I will send the files off to Eric to see what he reckons but in the meantime maybe folk might want to think on as to whether we scrap this game or not ???

HiHi

Update, just in from Eric at WCS.

I believe this is from something we just added. We do have beta testers testing a PBEM game, but they must have missed this.

I will put it on my to-fix list.

Is the game otherwise proceeding properly once you proceed beyond this?

Thank you.

Eric

Now, as this perticular prob isn't that likely to crop up too often, maybe a way round it is that when/if it does in future, I email the folks concerned and ask them what answer they want me to put in eg 'No', leave the troops where they are or 'Yes' move them out, thoughts?

All the Best

Sorry about the late reply guys, just wanted to make sure we were going with the current save and not having it redone.
Anyway replied now.

Hmmm what happened to the boot? It is getting all nice and white again [:D]

HiHi

At 41 min, france sweeps up the Speedo 1st class with Bar & Green bits round the edges this turn.

So france & Turkey in, 5 to go.

In the case of a player initiated surrender I think he should notify the turn merger (you in this case) that he is initiating a surrender and then you consult any players involved.

That way the redos will be at a minimum.

In the case of one forced by insurrectionists, etc redos are unavoidable.

Again I kept you waiting, and for that I am sorry. The area I live in lost power for quite a few hours yesterday due to thunderstorms. When the power came back I had to leave for work [:(]

Well, lets see. My name comes from the older Torgeir, which again comes from Tor (Thor) and Atgeir (spear), so seems incorrect that I, "the spear of Thor" should be set back by thunder...

HiHi

I was trying to think up something involving a sound play on the pronunciation of Thor as sore (painful/angry) eg damaged by lightning ... but I failed miserably! [:(]
