Thanks, KG, for that link! That's a nice little read for a data junkie like me.

I am looking for info on adjusting xml values, especially home runs to follow actual ML Historical totals from year to year. I have been playing for a number of years but verrry rarely post. I tried on my own but I couldnt get Babe Ruth even close to his historical performance.

Did you try the in-game adjustments for Home Runs?

Yes I did. I saw little effect even with the slider at 100! ???

Honestly, I haven't seen much effect with HR slider, either. I really think HRs are better managed by controlling the stadium dimensions.

The Babe Ruth 'problem' may also be part of the current aging model...like a lot of players, he's exhausted all the time day by the time he's 32-33 years old. Also speed of 10 or less and can no longer play the field. I just started a fictional league to see if the same thing happens.
