ATAC (All terrain attack camel) Mk I

Looks like Manchuria. Poor thing is being made to carry one gun and tow another.

Ice and snow does not preclude an area from being a desert. Both the Artic and Antartic are deserts but this is probably Mongolia which can get very cold.

If you define a desert as being a very dry place, then the Antarctic certainly fits the bill. Among the lowest precipitation levels on the planet, and constantly blasted by storms.

wasn't the antartic a "very green place"  before it got snowed in?

and i'd say that camels around and before WWII were used to a lot more than that weight,
this is probably peanuts for a real camel

That muzzle break looks way to big to be on a 20mm weapon

Wot? Are you thinking it never rains or snows in the desert? Or that deserts aren't cold? (or both??)

Because it has the towing rig, I believe that makes it a Mk II. [:)]

Probably true. What I meant to say is that the guy leading the way has very similar facial features as compared to Obama in the way the picture is taken.

I can't make it any more odd than that.[;)]
