1812 - Can't move Grande Armee

This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. 1812 - Can't move Grande Armee

Post by vaalen »

I just tried the 1812 scenario as France.

There is a large French stack in west Prussia, including La Grande Armee. No natter what I do, I cannot any force in that stack to show a movement arrow when I try to move it.

The other stacks on the map move normally.

Seems like a bug. Any ideas on how to move that stack?

this is a odd one

in the snap shot, right click on Prussia, click on the line Prussia, and go to this line, click on that

then do it again right click on Prussia, click on the line Prussia and now click on it to do what it said it was doing

and you will then be able to move the Units out of Prussia

you have to violate neutrality with Prussia, for what ever reason, it is set to that when game starts, but it is not taking, so you have to stop it, and then start it back up, for it to take, you can do it in the same turn, and it will work

sorry if I am being confusing

Hard Sarge,

I really appreciate your help.

You've made it very clear, and I'll try it and see if it works.

Thanks again,

When I clicked on Prussia, I had the opportunity to click on "violate neutrality", and I did so. Problem solved.

Thanks,

Vaalen,
This is a data file error in which a treaty wasn't entered properly. It was discovered at the very end of testing this patch, and we decided that rather than fix it (and a few lesser issues) and delay the patch another week we would release the patch and fix it in a small patch. We apologize for the confusion it caused.

It seems to be a problem with the files that got into the installer, as the master 1.0.9 version does not have this problem with that data file.

Gil,

I appreciate the apology.

Now,if you can help me with the 7 minute tactical turn bug I posted in the support forum today, I would be grateful.
