one or two PBEM opponents wanted

Post by falco148 »

Is there anybody else apart from myself and one or two others that ever plays this PBEM anymore?? I realize
the PBEM system in PCK is not the most simple in the world but once you get the hang of it its really quite
nifty. Also I guess the infantry combat model in this is a bit naff but other than that PCK has its merits.

Anyway if anybody wants to play (or at least wait for the patch and THEN play), drop me a line` at

I think the "replay your turn for better outcome" is turning people off.

-------
One turn a day I can do.

What are your particulars?...

Nation
Point Size
Season
Map
Force type (tank or inf heavy)
Stock or RGB
Etc
????

I prefer RGB.

Maybe winter until map maker does its thing. (But summer if ya want.)

If winter, we can pick a stock.

Spellir....an RGB is fine.  I'll see if I can get one out tonight.

I'm OK with either side.   I generally like a mid to large size battle.

Are you keen for a game now or when the new patch comes out? (whenever the hell thats gonna be).

'I think the "replay your turn for better outcome" is turning people off.'

I've heard about people possibly doing this but I thought the general concensus was
that it didnt seem to make much of a difference most of the time.

Play now. Patch delayed.

Do we open and look at the RGB scenario in Scenario Ed before we play? Only sure way to know we both didn't. There is --in the "set up phase"-- a 100m movement limit in PBEM games.

Which nation? How do we roll for it? If I'm Russians I want point advantage: 100point per 900. If I'm German you must take point advantage.

All other settings you can surprise me with.

Spellir....I will need your e-mail address if we're to begin anything.

As for your other queries, feel free to look in the scenario editor if you must.  I didnt even know you could actually.
You just choose your side, no need for rolling etc.

I've never heard of Russians needing points advantage before but again, feel free if you think its necessary.

I was thinking of doing a play by play, first person, in-character AAR (with the 'photos' and top down map.) (You know.)

Upload it after battle is over.
