Atomic Bombs

Post by Gilgawath1 »

When do you receive your first A Bomb?
Is it automatic or have certain conditions to be met first?

Currently game date 28th July 1945.

Cheers

I have these suggestions. If you have Klaus Fuchs in charge of anything, get him out of there. (check the Alamagordo hex)

Also, turn off the Calutron production line. It is wasteful and the yield is terrible. (Tennessee hex)

I would say put everything into gasseous diffusion. If you want to leave the plutonium line open that is your call. (Hanford hex)

Lastly make sure Teller is not wasting his time day dreaming about a fusion bomb. He is brilliant but he needs a bit of focus. You want the stupid thing before the war is over. (Alamagordo again)

Happy mushroom cloud.

Hmmmm... whenever i click on the Hanford or TVA hexes, they say "Hex Unavailable" and have a funny triple triangle symbol and a faint greenish glow, while the Alamagordo hex is also unavailable but seems to be completely black and has the same symbol... what's going on?? [&:]

I bet you forgot the Oppenheimer effect. If you don't do it right, then General Groves interferes.

Actually, i've only heard about folks using them... apparently, nothing exciting happens, just another air attack report generated... of course, if you do it correctly, the results IN the report are rather impressive. [X(]

I have used them and was underwhelmed. Nothing flashy, no good graphics, just a report. They do serval thousand VPs worth of damage but cause no fires.
