Are you playing a hot-seat game, a PBEM game, or ???  I couldn't duplicate the problem with a hot-seat game, or with a game where I'm playing against the PO, nor in my PBEM game with Curt. So....maybe some more detail would be helpful.  What EXACTLY is it that you do when this happens.  What exactly do you mean by "the game resets".  Do you mean it goes back to turn 1 or that it crashes to desktop or ???

Are you playing on a laptop. Do you have an ancient video card? Maybe some equipment description could be helpful in us pulling this problem apart.

It may not be the same issue but I have had similar problem. If your pointer will move try selecting one of the view options from the top pull down menu. In my case the game will seem to freeze in these situations but it is still running. The map graphics are frozen but the game continues. The best way back in that I have found is something out of the view menu. The game then resets the map and all controls work normally.

Now i test new scenario

red thunder 1988, ussr first turn it says on the middle of the screen

Begin Turn
U.S.S.R
AM 6/21/1988
Begin

It is when i take the mousepointer and i miss the beginbutton it will be a circel with a mark in and nothing works. I take the circel everywhere on the screen but all are frozen ( the top pull down menu and the all view options, nothings works only the mousecircel with the mark in moves.)

You can hit 'enter' on the keyboard instead of using the mouse for the 'Begin Turn' box. Doesn't solve whatever the problem is, but maybe it will bypass it or not create it.

I think I was able to recreate this. With the "begin" window on screen, I rolled my mouse wheel. A problem similar to what he's describing occurred. I could clear it by minimizing the TOAW window then re-maximizing it. So he must have one of those very sensitive mouse wheels, that, instead of click-stops, responds to the slightest wheel movement.

Note that in 3.4, you'll be able to disable the mouse wheel.

Curtis,
That makes sense. In 3.4, the mousewheel should also be disabled when a dialog is up.
