defender status

defender status

Are you the defender if you have combat in an allies province?

And is there any instant combat bonus for being the defender?

I believe the answer to the first one is yes. 

The second one, IB is just a quicker version of Quick Combat.  So you get all the same bonuses in IB as you do in QC.
