Can't access player cards.

Post by Mojave »

Everything seems to work with the exception of the player cards. After closing the game I get a message stating.. This program requires flash.ocx which is no longer included in this version of Windows. It then suggests that I download the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player(10)which I did. There isn't even an ocx file in the Flash folder. I have tried a clean reinstall without any success. I also installed/run the game as admin and have tried using XP compatibility. Also I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Flash player to no avail.
Earlier when I attempted to access a player card the game would freeze, I would have to use task manager to shut it down. I believe the error message was 339. That is no longer happening, the game hasn't been locking up but it still won't open the cards.
I'm running version 1.75 Any suggestions or experience dealing with this issue would be most welcome as I feel I'm missing out on an integral part of the game.

A big thanks for making this fantastic game available to us all!

Just wondering, when you installed Flash, were you installing it for Internet Explorer? I remember seeing a post not long ago, someone was having Flash problems, and had installed Flash, but for a different Browser. They then installed Flash specifically for IE and that cured it.

Crash thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. The Adobe site automatically detects which browser you're using. Even I can't screw that up[:'(]

I just uninstalled Flash10, downloaded and installed Flash8 and it works. Woot!

If anyone else runs into this problem just do a search for Flash8(9 might work too) Adobe and a few other sites have it archived in a zip file format. Uninstall the newer version and replace it with the older one, you should be good to go.
