This scenario uses a Ger 120mm mortar, included. XML originally by JMass; I re mapped it to redone image compendium and re named it so it will line up in the scenario editor drop down list better.

Is this your Prokhorovka? On one of the PCK maps?
Because one of my new maps for the South Kursk campaign is also named Prokhorovka (Kursk-S7-Prokhorovka). It is made from Google Earth of the area near the Oktiabr'skii State Farm where the battle was fought.

After a week of non stop fighting we have apparently broken through their defenses. ...Twenty miles deep of anti-tank dug-outs, kill zones and minefields!

A contingent of our engineers got across the river at Prokhorovka. We need to fully establish and reinforce the bridgehead there.

We have told the increasingly anxious Fuhrer that finally Soviet fire has decreased and in some places disappeared; that we will be across the river today in force. But he is concerned about our diminished force. So are we.

We are down fifty percent.

_Regardless, we will head north and link up with our engineers._

Dawn is just about to break and we are ready to move out. In the distance we can hear the curious rumble of engines in the dark...

Comrades, our troops have put up a terrific fight in our forward salient around Kursk! Our defensive positions were brilliant and they whittled down the stupendous week long enemy assault. He has been stopped in all but one spot.

...An SS detachment has gotten through near Prokhorovka! We have no more defensive positions in the area. Stavka can not stress enough how grave this situation is! If an enemy Tank Korp gets to our rear there is no telling what might occur along the entire front!

Your tank Armee was being held back for our summer campaign. Well that is off! We must use this force as damage control to plug the leak before it is too late.

The enemy force is mostly damnable Tigers. Decreased in numbers, yes but Tigers none the less.

Our Intel tells us the method for destroying these beasts is to decrease the range and get near his flanks.

Charge him bravely and overwhelm him and we can't lose! [_Some German flags are worth crushing points; capturing them will quickly close on victory.]

The whole region is so choked with black smoke, no planes will harry us.

If we don't stop this break through, only fate will be able to save our Front.
