This is the first official taste of what will be coming in spring 2010:

I've already set up another USMC long campaign, have saved it, and will start it up as broadcast time approaches.

Unfortunately it appears that they have succumbed to Hollywood influences and included love-stories in this production.

FINALLY I get to actually see a damn promo without it getting pulled for 'copyright reasons'. [:D]

From what I understand, this one is supposed to more closely focus in on a few specific Marines, as opposed to Band of Brothers focusing on a unit. So I would expect more 'personal' stuff if they're going to spend more time with specific people.

Yeah, that notion worked very well in the movie Pearl Harbor.

The first time some Marines girlfriend shows up as a Navy nurse and takes over an AA battery and downs a Japanese Val...I'm out of there! [:D]

OK, guys...I've read Dale Dye's reports on the filming of the combat scenes. Homefront scenes aside, I don't think there will be any shortage of mayhem on the battlefields. Here's a cool screenshot from the Guadalcanal episode, showing a 30 cal HMG and a 37mm ATG (using canister rounds):

[:D] I don't think we're likely to see anything like that.

Besides, Michael Bay is COMPLETELY UNINVOLVED in this project. [:)]

"So, what do you believe in?"
"I believe in ammunition."

Yeah, I may borrow that one for a future DAR. Kinda sums up what I love about the Marines. [;)]
