New Turkey required for Napoleons Options

Post by delatbabel »

Napoleons Options requires a new Turkey.

It's June 1806 and the game has progressed in peace to the start of the first war between France and Austria/Prussia/Russia/Britain. Turkey has eaten some minor countries but basically been left unmolested since the start of the game.

This would suit a beginner or an experienced player.

Hi Del,

I'd sure like to try my hand at this - being a beginner (at pbem) this would probably suit me :)

H all,

We're after another new player to take on the Turkish position.

Please only reply if you're able to see it through to playing some actual turns.

I'll do it, if the version isn't locked to non-beta versions (I'm already upgraded).

Jimmer, are you on 1.05 or 1.06?

1.06, which is why I asked the question. I thought Delatbabel's games were strictly non-beta.

Well, actually, yes, we are all running 1.05.xxx at the moment and I think there is a chance that a few of the guys will not be willing to upgrade, but we're still discussing that atm.

I'm handing over hosting on this game to Brian C at the moment. I'll leave it up to him as to whether to run on the non-beta version. My understanding is that they run OK side by side from different directories on the same PC (this is how I run it for my testing).

I will be away from all computers for the weekend and so cannot reply. At this time, I am writing from work. My home internet connection went belly-up last night due to the vendor doing some unannounced work. I do not know if it is up at home or not. If it is, I'll check my email for updates and see if I can squeeze in my reinforcements. But, don't count on it.
